Addleshaw Goddard advises startup Xoople on a new capital increase, reaching a total of €115 million

Addleshaw Goddard has advised Xoople, a Spanish technology company specialising in data infrastructure and physical-world intelligence, on a €115 million Series B financing round. Addleshaw Goddard has supported Xoople in its various funding rounds since its foundation, which to date have amounted to a total investment of €200 million.

Xoople is a pioneer in the development of what it calls the “Earth Registry System,” a global infrastructure designed to capture and record the physical changes of the planet in real time. This data layer will enable advanced artificial intelligence systems, integrating geospatial reasoning and business intelligence to analyse patterns, detect changes and deliver predictive capabilities applicable to key sectors such as infrastructure, supply chain, agriculture, insurance and risk management.

Xoople’s shareholder base is made up of top-tier national and international investors, including Nazca Capital, MCH Private Equity, Buenavista Equity Partners and Endeavor Catalyst, as well as CDTI, a public entity reporting to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. Previous funding rounds also included participation from AXIS, a venture capital firm wholly owned by the Spanish Official Credit Institute (ICO). Xoople is considered a strategic company by CDTI and is among the leading investments under its Innvierte programme.

The Addleshaw Goddard team advising Xoople was led by partners Germán Cabrera and Gonzalo Fernández, together with associate Álvaro Paniagua.
