Addleshaw Goddard advises Sigla on investment in Attikon Finanz AG

Addleshaw Goddard’s private equity team has advised Sigla on its investment in ATTIKON Finanz AG, a high-growth German commercial insurance brokerage platform.

Established in 2019 through the combination of two regional brokers, ATTIKON has rapidly built a strong multi-specialist position in the German SME insurance market. 

Sigla has invested alongside ASTORG, pan-European private equity firm, to support ATTIKON’s next phase of development, including an accelerated acquisition programme, strengthening its digital capabilities, and expanding into complementary service lines.

Sigla’s founders have been long-standing shareholders in ATTIKON and bring established expertise in the brokerage sector.

The Addleshaw Goddard team advising on the deal was led by private equity partner Sharon Skipper-Gordon alongside private funds partner Ben Cocoracchio, with support from Alex Stevens (Private Equity), Chloe Chiew, Harrison Dans and Romain Galand (Private funds), Colin Kennedy and Jeremy Cross (Finance), Fabian Nepessen and Hubertus Schröder (Germany Corporate), Sandra Mohand Oussaid and Richard Ledain Santiago (Luxembourg Corporate), and Jean-Luc Dascotte and Zoe Fatchen (Tax).
