Hello, my name is Sophia, I am an Addleshaw Goddard Integrate Consultant and I’m working for a company in the Transport Sector. I was motivated to make a move into the Interim Paralegal market because my friend was doing it while I was studying and I realised this is actually a trend that is ongoing and when I realised that Addleshaw Goddard was providing these kinds of services I saw an advert and I locked in and I put in my application.
The advice I would give to others who are looking to become a Paralegal with AG Integrate is to (1) work on your strengths and bring them out, materialise them into the real world; (2) network, look after your connections; (3) look at newspapers, look at the trends that are going on the global legal market.
The key benefits for clients who use Interim Paralegals are (1) that they do not need to commit long-term to using the Paralegals; and (2) that they have the flexibility to plug the skills gap within their legal team. I have noticed while I’ve been working with my AG Integrate client that AI has taken on a supportive role. In my day to day job one of the most important tasks is to file documents appropriately and in an intuitive fashion so AI has definitely taken on a supportive role in automating some of the simpler tasks. The AG Integrate network has assisted me with having access to a diverse group of people, for example, I was introduced to a colleague who works for the company who I am on assignment with and I was able to gain insight into that company and how they work and what they need.
My favourite part about being a part of the AG Integrate network is the regular check-ins where I am able to gain feedback on what I have been doing well and what I should carry on doing, as well as what I could ameliorate and what I could change to improve my service for the client.
One of the reasons why I wanted to work as an Interim Paralegal for AG Integrate is because AG Integrate is a part of the wider AG network and I really wanted to be associated with this brand.
