Our culture is your story - Katarzyna Magnuska

When our office joined AG we felt immediately welcomed. It was obvious that the Firm really wanted us to succeed and people did everything they could to help the team (and our clients) with the rapid transition. The training and support we received was thorough and the attention to detail on all the aspects of this transition helped us have a successful and positive start to life in the network.

We are still in the early days of life at AG but I can already see how we can contribute to the firm’s global ambitions.

To that end, I recently returned from our Global Connect programme in London where I had the opportunity to meet with a number of associates from our firm and other best friend practices. What I valued was the emphasis Global Connect placed on practical sessions and the ability for us to share opinions and experiences with one another throughout our three days together.

The human relationships and connections between offices is a crucial part of cross jurisdictional work, making space to build those links while we were together was excellent.

Fundamentally, lawyers have to know that their clients are in good hands. No matter the piece of work and no matter where in the world that work is being done, there is no point having capacity in all jurisdictions if there is not the trust to use it properly and no mindset of us being one multinational organisation aiming for the same goal and sharing common interests.

I am enjoying getting to know AG people from around the world. Ultimately, our connections are always confirmed by the work we do together, so I am looking forward to working on projects with new colleagues all in the coming weeks, months and years.
