Having recently celebrated my 10-year AG'versary, it feels like a lifetime since I jumped into my first ‘adult’ job as a Paralegal in the central Transaction Services Team. Perhaps because, during that time, I’ve moved roles, departments, offices and even countries before landing in my current role as an Associate within the Real Estate Finance Team in London.

From Manchester to Dubai and now London (with a three-month client secondment thrown in for good measure), I have seen AG from multiple angles; and the common denominator has been the atmosphere which follows across offices and teams.

Whilst this Firm is all I’ve ever known as a lawyer, it is this atmosphere and these colleagues which have solidified me as Team AG. As I mentioned to a colleague recently, I have literally grown up in this business – and I know that AG will continue to present challenges which allow me to grow further.

Whether it's as a result of an informal chat at a party (being the catalyst for my move into an embedded Paralegal role with Real Estate Finance), mock interviews with colleagues ahead of my Training Contract application or even running a red pen across this very article, people across the Firm have always been more than willing to open doors and create opportunities for me in so many different ways. 

From small gestures of confidence to putting me at the forefront of important client relationships, I have found people to be consistently generous at AG.

I have had a great career so far and hope to keep progressing it at AG – here’s to the next decade!
