Tom trained and practised in Slaughter and May’s Competition Law team before joining Addleshaw Goddard in November 2020.
Tom has acted on highly challenging multi-jurisdictional merger control investigations, including Phase 2 investigations before the European Commission and the Competition and Markets Authority. He also has experience advising on antitrust investigations (before the Competition and Markets Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority), state aid matters and UK market studies. He had advised clients in a variety of regulated industries, including appeals against decisions by Ofgem and Ofcom before the CMA and CAT. Tom has also gained experience of telecoms regulation through a secondment at a major telecoms provider.
