Andy heads up the London construction and engineering team and regularly leads cross-disciplinary teams on substantial development finance and project finance deals for Addleshaw Goddard. He advises clients from a broad range of sectors from the public sector, to developers, retailers, financiers, contractors, members of the professional team and mixed consortia on the drafting, negotiation and approval of a full suite of development agreements, project documents, construction contracts, major projects contracts and partnering projects. He is also a joint head of the firm's Industrials sector.
Andy has further experience advising on methods of procurement, standardisation and contractor incentivisation schemes. He takes particular pride in brokering solutions to alleviate entrenched negotiations.
Andy has particular expertise in acting for public-private partnerships, joint venture partners and developers across a number of sectors, including housing, retail, education, investment portfolios and health. He is also responsible for AG's sector focus on industrials.
Andy is the Client Relationship Partner for Blackonyx, Beltane Asset Management, McLaren, the Croydon Council Urban Regeneration Vehicle, Mount Anvil and the University Partnership Programme. He is also a key adviser to Britvic, Travelodge, Sainsbury's, Fulcrum Infrastructure, Scottish Widows and HSBC on their construction-related activity.
