Justine heads up Addleshaw Goddard's commercial tax and structuring team nationally. On the business/corporate side, she advises on the tax and structuring elements of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and funds establishment, acting for corporates, individuals and the public sector. Justine is a specialist in private equity (PE) transactions and is involved in many of the PE deals which the firm acts on, whether advising management teams or investing PE funds.

Justine is a core member of the firm's property sector team and has particular expertise in stamp duty land tax, VAT and the direct tax issues involved in real estate investment and development. She also advises on complex property tax matters relating to real estate funds, regeneration projects, collective investment and property joint ventures.

Her recent work includes advising clients such as Sainsbury's, Bruntwood, Standard Life, Wolseley, Co-operative Group, Threadneedle and Muse, as well as private equity houses including Phoenix, Livingbridge and Inflexion.

Justine is also passionate about diversity and gender issues in the legal sector and leads the firm's Gender Working Group.
