Addleshaw Goddard Welcomes Jérémie Paubel as Partner in Paris Employment Team

Addleshaw Goddard is pleased to announce the appointment of Jérémie Paubel as a Partner to lead its Paris Employment team, further strengthening the firm’s growing presence in France and its international employment law capabilities.

Member of the Paris bar, Jérémie has more than twenty years of experience and joins from Baker McKenzie, where he spent more than fifteen years, advising international companies and multinational groups. His experience spans a broad range of sectors, with a specific focus on financial services and pharmaceuticals, and with a strong track record supporting clients on complex European and global projects.

He brings specialist expertise in standalone employment matters, with a strong focus on reorganization projects and collective redundancies. He is also highly regarded for his work on the employment aspects of corporate transactions.

In addition to his client work, Jérémie actively contributes to the legal community through teaching and speaking engagements. 

He will be joined by an associate, Adrien Leberon, and will work with the current Paris employment team, forming the initial core of the expanding practice.

The appointment comes as Addleshaw Goddard marks the fifth anniversary of its Paris office, celebrating a period of sustained growth and an increasingly prominent position in one of Europe’s key markets.

Jérémie’s hire follows a series of recent partner additions to the Employment team, including Paul McGrath in Leeds, Anya Duncan in Aberdeen and Ingrid McGhee in Glasgow, alongside the launch of the firm’s Warsaw office in 2025, reflecting the team’s continued expansion across the UK and its growing international presence in Europe
