Daria is a Polish qualified lawyer (radczyni prawna) with 8+ years of experience in complex technology projects, data privacy matters, and all aspects of the intellectual property rights, both in their enforcement and protection.

Daria’s professional experience includes advising on domestic and cross-border contentious and non-contentious matters, as well as representing clients before governmental authorities. Daria has also a firm grasp of commercial and regulatory aspects of law, making her a valued advisor in negotiations across a wide array of sectors – banking, telecommunication, healthcare, energy, IT, railway, national defence, scientific and research industry, biotech, and video games.

  • Farfetch UK: advising on the acquisition of the Wanna virtual try-on technology and Voir make-up virtual try on and beautification technology, within the scope of data privacy and IP.
  • a Chinese mobile and online payment platform: advising on implementation of the GDPR with regard to the services offered in Poland.
  • a UK-based provider of financial software and risk solutions: advising on a personal data breach and related thereto civil litigation before Polish courts.
  • a global consumer goods company: providing strategic legal advice on combating counterfeiting of gardening tools, encompassing design rights, trademark protection, and unfair competition law.
  • one of the biggest Polish public institutions facilitating research and development: advising on public procurements in the field of intellectual property law.
