EXPERTISE 

Charlotte qualified into Addleshaw Goddard's Planning and Infrastructure Consenting team in September 2020. She advises on all aspects of planning, infrastructure, compulsory purchase, highways and local government law with a focus on energy, transport, residential and mixed use development. During her training contract, Charlotte undertook a six month secondment with Drax at their head office in Selby, North Yorkshire. 

Charlotte's recent experience includes:

  • advising national infrastructure providers in objections to national significant infrastructure projects to protect their assets and their ability to carry out their statutory obligations 
  • acting on behalf of SGN in objections to development consent orders affecting their assets and negotiating asset protection agreements relating to compulsory purchase orders
  • acting on behalf of an energy delivery company in the promotion of a development consent order relating to industry leading low-carbon infrastructure
  • advising on infrastructure agreements including foul water and sewerage connections and local road network for a housing development project for Houghton Regis Management Company Limited delivering up to 7,000 homes and commercial and retail space, including highways agreements under section 38 and 278
