Katherine acts for UK and international clients on a wide range of cross-border transactional real estate matters, with a particular focus on leasing, acquisitions, real estate financing and asset management work. 

Dual-qualified in England & Wales and in Scotland, she spent 9 years in the firm's Edinburgh office before joining our Paris office. She also has experience working in-house in the real estate legal team of a FTSE 100 listed company in London.

Experience

Katherine’s recent experience includes:

  • advising a national high-street retailer on acquisitions, lease renewals and asset management for its growing operational property portfolio
  • acting for a private equity firm in the acquisition of four holiday parks in Scotland
  • advising an industrial manufacturer on the sale and leaseback of a historic building in Glasgow to allow for its restoration and preservation
  • acting for a number of industrial occupiers on the leasehold acquisition of operational properties
  • advising a FTSE 100 company on the asset management of its UK-wide portfolio of office and industrial properties, including the voluntary registration of its unregistered land in Scotland
  • acting for operators and landlords in the telecommunications infrastructure sector
  • acting in the acquisition and asset management of various UK shopping centres
  • acting for a government agency in relation to the asset management of its properties, ports, harbours and slipways throughout Scotland 
  • acquiring, managing and disposing of surplus leasehold and freehold property portfolios for a number of large corporate occupiers
