Katy is an Associate in the Commercial Team in the London office.

Katy has experience across a broad spectrum of commercial matters, including preparing and negotiating bespoke commercial contracts for organisations in a variety of sectors to advising on non-contentious intellectual property matters. Katy also regularly assists with the data protection and commercial aspects on M&A transactions and has built up a lot of experience in this area.

In addition to general commercial matters, Katy has a particular specialist focus and interest on data protection. Katy regularly advises clients on data protection laws and works with a number of the firm's key clients in relation to their ongoing compliance with the GDPR (including major high street banks and a large insurance broker). Katy regularly assists clients with handling data subject access requests and data breaches.
