Jamie is an Associate in our Leeds Commercial team having joined the firm in March 2023. He has experience in advising clients on a variety of issues relating to commercial contracts and non-contentious intellectual property matters.

Jamie's experience includes:

• Advising one of the UK's largest hospitality businesses on the sale and divestment of a portfolio of its restaurant chains, specifically in relation to the separation / integration of its commercial contracts. 
• Advising a world-leading online travel agency on the strength of its IP portfolio (operating in over 30 jurisdictions internationally) and supporting the group with the formulation of its IP strategy to augment the value of its intangible assets.
• Advising Britain's leading regional gas distribution company on the procurement of an outsourced IT communications solution from one of the UK's leading telecommunications providers to be utilised across the whole of Great Britain and Northern Ireland by gas distribution networks, gas transmission and independent gas transporters.
• Advising a UK based paediatric pharmaceutical company on its international product distribution agreements, as well as its product development and licensing arrangements with other pharmaceutical companies located across Europe and North and South America.
• Advising a global investment firm on the purchase of the assets in a film post-production, specifically in relation to ensuring the film's complete chain of title through implementing intellectual property assignments with actors, directors and other production companies.
