Fortesa is an Associate in our Social Impact, Sustainability and Housing Finance team, specialising in the property aspects of real estate finance transactions. Fortesa has experience in dealing with the property aspects of charging large portfolio of properties, including negotiating and agreeing certificates of title, preparing and reviewing other due diligence documentation and satisfying all necessary conditions precedent required under the security documentation.
Fortesa has previously acted for registered providers of social housing in charging of large scale portfolios of properties under loan facilities of amounts varying from £1 million to £450 million, including advising clients on what properties lenders consider as being suitable and unsuitable for charging.
Prior to real estate finance, Fortesa worked in both high street and West End firms in the real estate department, primarily acting on commercial real estate transactions including lease renewals, acquisitions and sales – both for landlords and tenants. In addition, Fortesa also dealt with high value residential property transactions and residential lease extensions.
