Sally has extensive experience advising on a variety of real estate transactions with a particular emphasis on development and asset management work.  She has acted on a range of development, and forward funding transactions, acquisitions, purchases and asset management for various institutional landlords and retailers across a number of portfolios.

Her specific experience includes:

• acting on a range of asset management matters for British Land to help it realise value from its portfolios:
  • including running the team and dealing with high value/complex lettings at Meadowhall Shopping Centre;
  • acting on the sale of British Land's stake in The Meadowhall Shopping Centre to its JV Partner Norges Investments, for £360 million,
• acting for Muse Places Limited on various matters including the c.£250m mixed use development scheme at Hucknall comprising residential and industrial phases.  Work included sales of part of land to national housebuilders, transfer of the residential common parts, and occupier lettings of the business park;
• acting for Siemens Mobility Limited on its site assembly and acquisition of two complex development sites:
  • land at Goole 36, Goole to create the £200million Siemens Goole Railway Village, a train and manufacturing plant and supply chain rail village, together with its continued expansion;
  • on its Chippenham acquisition - a new £100m Research and Development manufacturing facility for its rail division,
• acting for Asda on the mixed-use redevelopment of its store at Park Royal, London. This included a sale to Barratt Homes and the creation of a new town centre in north-west London with 1,500 homes and the delivery of a new superstore; and
• acting for Realty Income across its range of retail parks portfolio helping them to maximise potential and realise value.
