Addleshaw Goddard team has recently advised on the successful Hong Kong listing by Xin Yuan Enterprises Group Limited (Xin Yuan), an asphalt tanker chartering services provider.

The team advised the sponsor, China Industrial Securities International Capital Limited (CIS). CIS group is one of the leading securities firms in the PRC with total assets of RMB 98.5 billion. 

Xin Yuan was listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 26 September 2018.  Xin Yuan principally provides asphalt tanker chartering services under various types of charter agreement comprising: (i) time charters; and (ii) voyage charters and contracts of affreightment. Xin Yuan ranked 4th in the global asphalt tanker chartering services market in terms of total carrying capacity (dwt) of vessels and in terms of revenue. The listing gave the company an initial market capitalisation of HK$ 700 million.
