Two London-based AG Partners have been named in Who's Who Legal: Arbitration 2018, a guide to the world's leading international arbitration lawyers. Sarah Vasani and Jon Tweedale have been recognised as 'Future Leaders' in the directory, which is based on the recommendations of legal practitioners and clients worldwide, and highlights the individuals, aged 45 or under, who are considered to be the future leaders of the international arbitration community.

Listed for the second year running, Sarah specialises in both international commercial arbitration and investor state disputes, and has experience in energy, oil and gas, mining, and other large-scale project disputes. She regularly advocates for her clients' interests before international tribunals, and advises clients on investment (re)structuring, strategies for minimising the prospects of full-blown disputes, and managing the risks of arbitration through third-party funding arrangements. WWL says: 'Sarah Zagata Vasani ranks prominently for her "energy, enthusiasm and strong background in treaty claims" and is commended by peers who note, "She goes from strength to strength".

Jon has over 19 years' experience advising on international commercial disputes and has acted as counsel for multinationals, banks and governments in international arbitrations. His sector focus includes energy, life sciences and manufacturing. As well as maintaining his counsel practice, Jon also sits as an arbitrator. WWL says: "clients endorse Jon's 'refreshingly straight-forward approach' and great ability 'to remain abreast of all the relevant issues'".
