Premium business law firm Addleshaw Goddard has chosen mental health charity Mind as its principal charity partner.

The two-year long partnership will see fundraising activity take place across the firm's three UK offices in London, Leeds and Manchester, as it aims to raise money and awareness of the charity.

Colleagues at the firm will be raising money through a range of different events, including sporting challenges, bake sales and themed events. The firm will also promote wellbeing in the workplace through activities such as mindfulness classes.

Mind was chosen as the firm's charity following a vote among the firm's 1300 partners and colleagues, where Mind was the clear winner. The partnership aligns with AG's wellbeing programme, which has a focus on mental health awareness.

Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Money raised during the partnership will fund the charity's work as well as campaigning to secure a better deal for everybody who experiences a mental health problem.

Charles Penney, Senior Partner of Addleshaw Goddard, said: "We are delighted that our colleagues have chosen to support Mind as our principal charity partner and are very excited to support their essential work.

"AG is committed to colleague wellbeing, so we are pleased that our partnership with Mind will not just bring opportunities to raise funds, but also raise awareness around mental health issues."

Kathleen Miles, Director of Fundraising at Mind, said: "We are hugely grateful to staff at Addleshaw Goddard for choosing to support Mind, and our work supporting people with mental health problems. Money raised over the course of this partnership will allow us to continue to be there for people who need it, when they need it the most."

AG was delighted to sponsor the drinks reception of Mind's 70th Anniversary Gala Dinner in May to coincide with the launch of our charity partnership.
