Addleshaw Goddard's Manchester Real Estate team has advised Bruntwood on its acquisition of 66,249 sq ft Commercial Union House, Manchester located on the corner of Lincoln and Albert Squares and facing the Town Hall.

The property which comprises three-self contained ground floor retail units and six stories of offices, currently houses Dutton's restaurant as its retail anchor. Bruntwood have plans to refurbish the building into a prime Grade A product.

Brian Ghatan, Managing Associate at Addleshaw Goddard who led this deal, said:

"This purchase is great news for Bruntwood as well as the local letting market and will create a much needed product in Manchester City Centre due to the increased levels of office take-up. I have no doubt that Bruntwood will create a high quality workspace in what is a prime location."
