Join Open-AG for a digital celebration of Pride and a panel discussion on what Pride could represent this year as well as a discussion on the issues it presents as an LGBT person living in social isolation.

As Pride month gets underway, LGBTQ+ individuals are unable to come together in the usual marches this year to commemorate the progress already made in equal rights and raise awareness for the work yet to be done.

Many individuals have been isolating away from their own homes, removing them from spaces in which they feel safe as well as denying them of the opportunity to socialise with LGBTQ+ peers. This has presented a number of well-reported challenges and raises an important question about how the Pride movement can be celebrated in the context of a global pandemic.
