Expertise

Theresa is a lawyer specializing in corporate law at the Hamburg office of Addleshaw Goddard. She advises German and international companies and investors on domestic and international M&A transactions as well as in a broad range of corporate matters, including restructurings, corporate governance, and corporate litigation. 

Prior to joining Addleshaw Goddard in 2023, Theresa worked at a renowned German white-collar crime law firm. 

Education

Theresa studied at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg i. Br. and completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Stuttgart. She was admitted to the bar in 2019. In 2023, she was awarded a doctorate by the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen. 

Prior to joining Addleshaw Goddard as a lawyer, Theresa worked as a research assistant and later as a lawyer at the Stuttgart office of a renowned German white-collar crime law firm.

  • Teufel-Preis 2023, awarded by the Reinhold-und-Maria-Teufel-Stiftung for the dissertation „Der Irrtum im Außenwirtschaftsstrafrecht“ (Mistake in Foreign Trade Criminal Law), recognized as an outstanding doctoral thesis.
