Scott has guided many stakeholders, including lenders, shareholders, borrowers, directors and insolvency practitioners through a plethora of financings, financial restructurings, insolvencies and work-outs. His twenty years of experience has encompassed some of the most legally innovative and complex financial restructurings across multiple jurisdictions and sectors, in particular, the Energy, Off-Shore, Shipping, Financial Institutions and Technology sectors.
Scott's also focuses his time assisting funders and borrowers in the high growth technology and life science ecosystem. Scott has market leading experience in venture and growth debt and has assisted with the financing of some of the fastest growing and innovative companies across the UK, Europe and the United States.

Scott's relevant experience includes the following:
- Acting for Railsbank Limited defending enforcement action taken by its lender and with the distressed M&A out of administration.
- Petroserv, Inc., an offshore drill rig business based in Brazil, with respect to the cross-border financial restructuring of its $889 million term loan facility using an English law scheme of arrangement.
- Petroserv, Inc. in the sale of its operating entities to the financial buyer, Ventura Offshore Holdings Ltd, $280 million.
- Ocean Rig UDW Inc and its affiliates, in relation to its cross-border financial restructuring of $3.2 billion of financial indebtedness using four interconnected schemes of arrangement.
- The Administrators of Greensill Limited with respect to its $140million claims in the U.S. Chapter 11 proceedings of Katerra Inc.
