Germán Cabrera is a Partner in the Corporate team in Madrid and a lawyer with over 18 years of experience. He specialises in corporate law and M&A, advising both national and cross-border clients on all types of M&A transactions, with a specific focus on the private equity, energy, infrastructure and sport sector. 

Germán also has an in-dept knowledge in general corporate advice, corporate restructurings and corporate governance, having been appointed as secretary of the Board of several companies.

  • Advice to Suma Capital on the €100 million sale of its district heatings to the French infrastructure fund Vauban. 
  • Advice to the public company Axis Participaciones Empresariales on its investments and divestments in the Spanish private equity sector.
  • Advice to Seaya Ventures on its joint venture with Nortia Capital, aimed to launching their €300 million fund Seaya Andromeda Sustainable Tech Fund I.
  • Advice to Meriton Holdings on the €500 million acquisition of a majority stake in the Spanish Football Club Valencia C.F. 
  • Advice to Aurelius Group on the acquisition of the commercial activities of Abelan Group in Spain, Portugal and South America.
