International Law firm Addleshaw Goddard has added further strength to its burgeoning structured finance and securitisation practice with the strategic hire of new partner Taymour Keen in London.

His arrival brings the number of dedicated partners in the team to four since the firm hired high-profile specialist Rachel Kelly in April 2020 to lead and develop a dedicated structured finance and securitisation team.  This latest partner hire is testament to the continuing success of this market-disrupting team, which goes from strength to strength.

Taymour has very broad structured finance and securitisation experience with specific expertise in structured real estate finance.  His hire will not only strengthen the team's offering generally but will also enhance its specialist structured real estate finance expertise, strengthening the bridge with our market leading real estate finance practice, led by Zoe Maurer.

Steve Mackie, Divisional Managing Partner for Finance & Projects at Addleshaw Goddard, said:

"Taymour brings a broad spectrum of knowledge and contacts in structured finance and this appointment further underlines Addleshaw Goddard's ongoing strategic plan to build a large, multi-discipline finance practice to support our clients globally.  Taymour's recruitment takes the tally of new finance partners appointed in the UK alone since April 2020 to 16 – highlighting the scale of our investment and confidence in our growth trajectory."

Rachel Kelly Head of Structured Finance and Securitisation said:

"I am very excited to have Taymour join our team. He brings with him a wealth of complementary skills as well as providing the opportunity to develop further our structured real estate finance offering, which is the latest step in the build out of our dedicated structured finance practice."

Taymour Keen partner in Structured Finance on his appointment at Addleshaw Goddard said:

"I am delighted to join one of the leading law firms in financial services and look forward to growing the AG brand internationally. I am excited to be part of this structured finance team as it builds on its initial success and help it grow to become a market leader.   My strategic, proactive and tenacious approach means I achieve results for my clients, and they can rely on me to lead transactions to a successful conclusion; always focussing on the bigger picture and what the client wants to achieve."
