Navigating Global Pricing Pressures in the Construction Sector in Asia
Navigating Global Pricing Pressures in the Construction Sector in Asia
As global supply chains come under increasing strain from shifting tariff regimes, construction companies in the region are facing mounting challenges — from cost escalation and procurement delays to contractual uncertainty.
This seminar brings together industry experts from finance, legal and claims to explore the real-world impact of tariffs on construction projects in Asia. We will also look at the overview of the tariffs landscape, interplay of tariffs and tax and strategic responses for multinational enterprises. We will unpack recent international trade developments affecting key construction materials, assess how tariff risks can be managed under standard contract forms such as SSCOC, SIA, NEC and discuss practical strategies for mitigating supply chain disruption.
Through legal insights, case studies and a panel discussion, attendees will walk away with a deeper understanding of how to safeguard margins, draft smarter contracts, and manage cross-border risk in a volatile trade environment.
4:30 to 5:30 pm – Presentation followed by panel discussion
5:30 to 6:30 pm – Tea and networking
