AG are pleased to invite you to a combined legal access scheme Ethnicity.Talent.Law

The aim of the scheme is to bring together students from ethnically diverse backgrounds studying at universities in Leeds and Bradford with people from Addleshaw Goddard LLP as part of a growing effort to increase ethnic diversity within the legal sector.

Key colleagues from Addleshaw Goddard LLP will share their stories, experiences and the challenges that they have faced during their career and provide a platform for students to gain advice on application forms, the recruitment processes and much more.

This 4 part event will consist of the following:

• Introductions and ice breaker: A quick introductory session for you to get to know your peers.
• Skills session: A session centred on what students should or could be doing to develop their skills and knowledge to equip them for making that all important application and to provide the students with a greater understanding about what law firms are looking for in candidates.
• Panel discussion: A panel discussion with Shakeel Dad, Pervinder Kaur, Joe Maitland, Abbas Khan and Samuel Dimitri who will be sharing their experiences and journeys into the legal profession and offering advice that they would give their younger selves.
• Networking: The opportunity to network with trainees and fee earners from the Leeds office in an informal setting.
