Sam has experience acting for sponsors, lenders, private credit funds and corporate borrowers on a wide range of finance transactions, with a particular focus on leveraged finance. Sam has recently completed a secondment to the Direct Lending team at Investec Bank plc where he assisted the team with a variety of mid-market transactions across the UK and Europe. 

• Acted for a US private equity house on several leveraged buy-outs across the UK and Germany, primarily with targets in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
• Acted for a private credit fund providing mezzanine debt for a leveraged buy-out of a multi-site leisure business in the UK.
• Acted for a Switzerland based private equity house on the leveraged buy-out of a Germany headquartered healthcare business. 
• Acted for a UK clearing bank on the provision of senior acquisition facilities to a corporate borrower operating in the healthcare sector.
• Acted for a UK private equity house on the financing of two bolt-on acquisitions for one of its portfolio companies operating in the veterinary space.
