Kyle is a managing associate in the Tax & Structuring team, who qualified in New Zealand. He advises on all areas of UK taxation, with particular expertise in private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and real estate finance. He is a member of the DAC6 working group and advises clients on their obligations under tax reporting regimes such as the Criminal Finances Act 2017 and the UK DAC6 regulations.

Kyle's experience includes:

  • Advised Dandara on the UK tax aspects of the UK's largest single built-to-rent portfolio, including the holding structure, the development, and the eventual disposal to a third-party purchaser
  • Advised a large UK bank on a significant strategic corporate acquisition
  • Advised on the sale of Pirtek Europe to PNC, a private equity firm
  • Advised ECI Partners on their £129 million sale of MThree to John Wiley & Sons
  • Advised Hammerson plc on a number of strategic asset disposals
