Christopher joined Addleshaw Goddard LLP in September 2005 and trained and qualified with the firm. As a Managing Associate within the firm's market leading Private Capital team Christopher has experience in dealing with a wide range of private client issues including: high net worth tax planning and wealth protection, Wills, the creation and administration of trusts, the administration of estates, advising charity trustees and owner and family managed businesses.

Christopher's clients include high net worth individuals, family business owners, trust companies and national banks. He also provides trust and tax support to Addleshaw Goddard's corporate, banking and litigation departments.

Christopher is also part of the firm's national Trusts and Estates Dispute Group and frequently advises on contentious trust and probate matters, including 1975 Act claims and trust disputes.

In addition, Christopher has significant experience in advising on residence and domicile and in advising offshore trustees and international individuals in relation to UK assets and taxes. Christopher works with the firm's international offices to advise high net worth and ultra high net worth international families on their UK and global holdings and structures.


Christopher is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Christopher was named in the "Top 35 under 35 2012" by Private Client Practitioner Magazine, a journal for leading private client professionals which highlights emerging professional talent in the private client world and aims to identify the leading individuals of the future.

Christopher was nominated for Lawyer of the Year at the inaugural Made In Manchester Awards 2013 and nominated for Associate of the Year at the Manchester Legal Awards 2013.
