Based in Edinburgh, Sean advises on data protection law. He qualified as a solicitor in England, training in the public sector, where he first gained experience in employment law and litigation. He has advised a wide range of businesses in the private sector across the United Kingdom while working at Royal Bank of Scotland Mentor and Peninsula Business Services. He was seconded to advise business clients of RBS/NatWest on changes to data protection law when GDPR was came into effect back in 2018, and regularly advised on data protection issues related to defending employment claims. In 2019 he dual qualified as a solicitor with the Law Society of Scotland, and obtained the Law Society of Ireland's Certificate in Data Protection Practice in 2020.
