Mike is a South African qualified lawyer in the commercial disputes team. Before relocating to the UK, he practised as an attorney at a highly regarded commercial law firm in Cape Town, South Africa. His experience spans a wide variety of commercial disputes with particular focus on supply chain matters. He has acted for clients in a number of African jurisdictions.
For the last seven years Mike has been a regular guest lecturer at Stellenbosch University, where he lectured to postgraduate economics students regarding various legal aspects of international trade. He was also engaged as a researcher, at the University of Cape Town, where he focused on the law of civil procedure in South Africa and assisted in the publication of The South African Sheriff's Guide (2015).
