Haleema joined Addleshaw Goddard in 2015 and has over 5 years' experience of transactional real estate work. Haleema advises large institutional investors on all aspects of commercial landlord and tenant work and has worked very closely with one of the firm's key institutional investors for over 5 years conducting transactional work on their varied property portfolio which includes retail, industrial estates and office buildings. Haleema also advises on lettings for an overseas investor in the UK on its commercial assets in London and undertakes work for a key transport and infrastructure client. Some of Haleema's most recent experiences include:
- acting for an institutional investor on the disposal of a large supermarket – Haleema drafted, and negotiated the sale contract and the ancillary documents and completed the transaction for £39,500,000;
- carrying out the title due diligence and reporting on the title for the acquisition of a development site for £27,500,000;
- drafting the client manual and precedent documents for a relatively new institutional investor client of the firm; and
- 4acting for an overseas investor in the UK, Haleema negotiated and completed all the lettings for a newly refurbished office block in London which was previously vacant.
