Judith specialises in insolvency dispute resolution, advising financial institutions, insolvency practitioners and corporate clients on a wide range of matters, including:

• acting for the Viscount of the Royal Court of Jersey as administrator of the en desastre estates of Orb a.r.l. and Dr Cochrane. This high profile case has involved seeking recognition of the Viscount's appointment and powers by the High Court, the exercise of the Viscount's investigatory powers, and the conduct of complicated and high value proprietary claims in proceedings in the High Court involving a large number of parties
• assisting insolvency practitioners on a wide range of matters including applications for directions, administration orders and worldwide freezing orders; pursuing claims against dishonest directors; enforcement of judgments both within and outside the jurisdiction; and the investigation and realisation of assets through the use of statutory powers pursuant to the Insolvency Act 1986
• acting for financial institutions in defending claims/complaints brought by borrowers and assisting lenders with taking action to enforce their security
• acting for corporate clients in defending claims brought by insolvency practitioners and assisting in circumstances where insolvency proceedings have been threatened or commenced
