EXPERTISE 

Áine is as Associate in the Immigration & International Mobility Practice. 

With a broad client base incorporating US and EMEA law firms, multi-jurisdictional corporate clients as well as individuals, Áine advises on a wide range of issues including employment permits, naturalisation, residency and citizenship, permission to remain, family reunification and visa applications.

Áine works closely with the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Department of Justice and Equality, Department of Foreign Affairs and the Garda National Immigration Bureau to provide the best up to date advice to her clients.

Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Áine was a practising barrister for over 6 years and has extensive advocacy experience representing clients before the Courts and before quasi-judicial tribunals. Áine was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2021.

Recent Experience includes

  • advising a broad client base of multi-national corporate clients, EMEA and US law firms and individuals on an extensive range of immigration issues including entry visa applications, business travel and short-term work assignments and assisting employers in obtaining a comprehensive range of employment authorisations to include Critical Skills Employment Permits, General Employment Permits, Intra-Company Transfer Employment Permits and Contract for Services Employment Permits.
  • advises on Family Reunification, Naturalisation and Citizenship.
  • advised employers on compliance with Irish Immigration legislation and preparing for audit by the Workplace Relations Commission. 
  • experienced public speaker and has provided training to large corporate clients on Irish immigration as well as presenting at a range of client seminars and roundtables.
