Elaine advises on the tax aspects of a wide range of structuring and transactional work, with particular experience advising private equity houses and management teams. She specialises in corporate tax planning (including the tax aspects of corporate finance, restructuring, joint ventures and public and private mergers and acquisitions). A further area of focus for Elaine is leading the tax practice in relation to Addleshaw Goddard's financial sector focus.
Elaine also provides fund formation advice for both private equity and real estate clients. She is heavily involved with AG's banking and structured finance teams and has advised on a wide range of cross-border financing and innovative (distressed and non-distressed) financing packages. Her clients include Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, Barclays Bank, HSBC, GVC, and Diageo.
