Darren practices health and safety and regulatory investigations in the wider Corporate Crime Group.

Before joining Addleshaw Goddard in July 2017, Darren was a prosecutor at the Health and Safety Executive's Legal Advisors Office. During that time he advised on complex investigations, across industrial sectors including defence, energy, healthcare and manufacturing. He has worked with both the Office of Nuclear Regulation and the Environment Agency.

In addition to advising clients on Health and Safety matters, Darren is representing a corporate client in a major public inquiry relating to safety. He is also defending in a prosecution brought by the Information Commissioner's Office relating to the large-scale theft of personal data from Financial Institutions.

Darren has also advised the UK Government and the United Nations Office for Drugs and Crime in strengthening law enforcement capacity in Pakistan and Nigeria, to prosecute terrorism and organised crime.
