Seif is an associate in the Infrastructure Projects & Energy team and is based in the London office. He has acted for funders and sponsors on the financing of infrastructure and energy deals across various sectors including renewable energy, natural resources, hydropower and conventional power.
In 2017, Seif spent a year working at an international law firm in Paris covering a wide variety of finance transactions.
Advising the lenders on the project financing arrangements for the acquisition of the offshore transmission assets for the Galloper, Race Bank and Walney Extension wind farms, with a total debt value of circa £1 billion across all three projects.
Advising on various portfolio financings of wind, solar and biomass facilities for both sponsors and lenders.
Advising the sponsors on the development and construction of a hydropower project in Georgia.
Advising the Nigerian National Petroleum Company on the joint development and financing of an upstream licence area.
