The Pensions Regulator has published a discussion paper seeking views on a number of issues relating to pension scheme trusteeship and governance.

Issues raised include whether the chair of trustees or a professional trustee should be required to have minimum qualifications or experience of belonging to a professional body.  The paper states that the Regulator is particularly interested in hearing directly from scheme trustees.  The deadline for responses is 9 September 2016.
