Join our Business Protection practice to understand the steps that you can take, from both a technical and legal perspective, to protect your business's confidential information.

In the majority of organisations, confidential information is a valuable asset which is often at the very heart of the business's long-term viability. Confidential information can come in many forms, from marketing and customer lists through to products, services and programming code.

When employees leave a business they can sometimes use the opportunity to take with them confidential information / IP from their employer in order to either progress their career in their new position or to set up in competition against the existing employer.

Understanding the steps that you can take,to protect your confidential information, especially from employees who are leaving the business, is an integral part of any business contingency plan.

This event takes the form of an interactive case study and will suit all in-house lawyers.

The speakers include Jamie Hamnett and Nick Ashcroft who head up Addleshaw Goddard's Business Protection Practice alongside members of Deloitte’s Forensic technology team who will provide an overview of some of the technological tools available to protect confidential information / IP and investigate any potential loss.

There will be discussion throughout and time for questions with the speakers.
