Addleshaw Goddard's North West Real Estate team has advised Bruntwood on a £45m forward funding deal with Aviva Investors for a unique hybrid car park and hotel building in Manchester's new neighbourhood Circle Square.

The 16 storey building, which will be developed by Bruntwood, will include a 158 room hotel situated above a multi-storey car park with 1014 spaces.

The project, which is currently due to complete in August 2020, forms part of Bruntwood SciTech and Select Property Group's £750m Circle Square development in Manchester. The site as a whole is expected to bring over 1700 new homes, 1.2 million square feet of workspace, two hotels, 100,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space for shops, restaurants and bars along with a large central green space to the former BBC Oxford Road site.

The Addleshaw Goddard team was led by Legal Director Brian Ghatan with support from Managing Associate Charlotte Higham and Associate Ashley Raine.
